The New House

Sunday, September 13th, 2009

So, as you all know we purchased a house in late March and moved in, in April. We have changed quite a few things since then. Repainted a few rooms, bought some new furniture, and more is on the way. I wanted to display a few before and after pictures to show you what we did. Not everything is here, I haven’t uploaded our new dinning room photos yet, nor is the updated guest room photos up but they will be soon.

Patrick’s 6 Month Checkup

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

Well Patrick has his 6 month checkup last night.  And……

Height: 26 3/4 inches
Weight: 17lb 4oz

Otherwise he is doing great the doctor was very impressed with his development to this point, particularly impressed with his ability to sit.

We have had him on solids for a while (bananas, carrots, sweet potatoes, peaches, prunes, and cereal). They told us to keep moving through the 1st foods then next month we can start finger food and as soon as we are through the first foods we can move the 2nd foods.

AND he has started scooting backwards.

Pictures to follow soon.

Its Hot and Its Hot and Its Hot and Its Hot and Its Hot! – Part 2

Monday, August 7th, 2006

Okay a while back I wrote about a billboard that caught my attention on the way to the hospital for some of Kaylea’s testing. Well its an advertisment for Cartoon Network. More specificly a show called Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, which Kaylea and I love. There are others with the quotes “I Pooed”, “Clowns hate tangelos”, and “Look! I have a meat beard”. If you are familiar with the Pittsburgh Area. The “I Pooed” billboard is visable on 579 on the Veteran’s Bridge and on the Parkway West near the intersection with I79. “I’m a hot toe picker” is visable on 885 at the light before Carson Street headed into downtown, and “Look! I have a meat beard!” can be seen on Rt 51 near where the T line crosses Rt 51. I have another picture of the toe picker billbord I will post shortly. In the mean time watch the Cartoon Network shows we love:

  • Foster Home for Imaginary Friends:  Wednesday 7p
  • Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy: Monday 7p

Baby Update – Week 29 – Week Have an Answer!

Tuesday, July 4th, 2006

Well we were at Mercy Hosptial on Monday night (July 3rd) for fetal monitoring (because of Kaylea’s blood pressure), and the doctor didn’t like monitoring tracing. Apparently the baby is still small enough to hide from the ultrasound transducer so we can’t get a constant tracing. So, they decided to get an ultrasound. These are going to become a twice a week thing until the baby is big enough that they can’t hide from the transducer.

Well when we got to the ultrasound the tech was able to tell us what we are having. If you want to find out click the read more link (there are also pictures).
